ABOUT
I'm Blaise, a dedicated animal enthusiast with a breadth of experience in pet care spanning various settings. Over six years, I've honed my skills working in dog daycares, veterinary clinics, cat rescue centres, kennels and dog training facilities. These varied roles have equipped me with a deep understanding of animal behaviour, health, and welfare, shaping my unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of animals.
Armed with this diverse hands-on experience, I pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Behaviour at the University of Exeter, graduating with Honours in 2023. For my dissertation, I embarked on a months-long voluntary excursion in Alghero, Sardinia. Here, I collaborated on trap-neuter-release initiatives, aimed at managing and rehoming feral cat populations. This experience not only deepened my compassion for animals but also underscored the significance of community-driven efforts in promoting responsible pet ownership.
Today, as the founder of Barking Boots, I combine practical expertise with academic insights to offer exceptional care for pets. Each animal entrusted to my care receives personalised attention, ensuring their well-being and happiness are always the top priority.
